3. INSTALLATION
1. Installation may only be carried out by a skilled person and in accordance with the VDE regulations. Work only
when there is no electricity present. To ensure this, it is essential to switch off the circuit fuse. Check whether the
connection lead is de-energised! 2. Install the timer on the DIN standard rail (top-hat rail) in the circuit-breaker
board. 3. For continuous voltage, now connect Phase and the neutral conductor to terminal 1+2 (Figure 2). The
switching contact is a potential-free changeover contact: Connect phase L to terminal 4. Terminal 3 is a NC
contact (closed when switched off), terminal 5 is a NO contact (closed when switched on), see Figure 2. 4. You
can now apply the voltage and begin programming.
