TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS
If the FFT appears normal but the performance is poor, check
for the following:
Ensure that the output signal of the ADAQ8088 is clean
(low phase noise).
Ensure that the connection between the output of the
EVAL-ADAQ8088EBZ to the AD9681-125EBZ is tight.
Using a smaller length of cable or connector is
recommended.
Ensure that an appropriate filter is used on the analog input.
Ensure that the signal generator for the clock is clean
(low phase noise).
Slightly change the analog input frequency if
noncoherent sampling is used.
Ensure that the SPI configuration file matches the device
being evaluated.
