A: Assuming that the software is installed correctly, this
message simply indicates that the AD5933 device drivers have
not been correctly installed. To install them, right-click

Computer and left-click Properties . On the Hardware tab,
choose Device Manager . Expand Other devices (Figure 22).

The computer has not recognized the USB device, that is, the
AD5933 evaluation board that is plugged in. Right-click
USB
Device and choose Uninstall Driver . Unplug the evaluation
board and wait for approximately 30 seconds before plugging it
in again. Proceed through the installation wizard a second time.
A correct installation is indicated by the expanded root
directory in Figure 23. If you encounter the same error message
the second time, uninstall the device driver and uninstall the
software and start the complete process again. Contact the
Analog Devices applications department for further
instructions and help.
