is running, and that a 16-
level modulation-no RU/RD is being performed. Notice the

is <010>. Referring to the table in the
16-Level
Modulation-No RU/R
D section of the AD9959 data sheet, we see that this bit pattern sets up 16-level modulation on Channel 2.

box. As discussed in the Channel Constraint Guidelines
section of the AD9959 data sheet, when performing 16-level
modulation on a selected channel, all other channels are available only for the single tone mode of operation.
