Selecting a Radio Code Group
Radio code groups are necessary in order to allow two or more transmitters to operate in close
proximity without interfering with each other. MX8 and MX16 radio code groups are set with the
internal 4-position code selection DIP switch. The DIP switch is located on front of the circuit
board inside the MX8 and MX16, as shown in FIG. 3.

TXC+ Transmitter Series
instruction manual for information on setting the transmitter
DIP switch for RF or IR control, and radio code group selection. The TXC+ transmitter has a
ten-position DIP switch. The TXC+ transmitter DIP switches are located inside the rear battery
compartment of the transmitters.
MX8 and MX16 radio code select DIP switches must match DIP switch settings on the TXC+
transmitters. Positions 1 through 4 on the MX8 and MX16 DIP switch correspond to positions 7
through 10 on the ten-position TXC+ transmitter DIP switch.
