AXCENTWire Menus
Overview
All AXCENTWire menus and menu options are selected using normal Windows
functions, including clicking the menus or using keyboard key combinations.
Select a menu by:
• Clicking it
• Pressing the Alt key and the underlined letter
Select a menu option by:
• Clicking the menu option
• Pressing the Alt key and the underlined letter for the menu option
• Typing the shortcut command listed next to the menu option
Any menu option including the ellipsis (…) displays a window or menu of
additional information or selection options.
File Menu
Choose File to display a pull-down menu of file management menu options.
Figure 2 shows the File menu. Menu option descriptions follow.
New
—Places a new template in the window as shown in Figure 1.
Open
—Opens the Open Axcent File window (Figure 3) that displays the
previously saved .AXC files. Enter the name of the file you want to load at the
cursor, or click a file name in the window. You can also locate a file by typing
the first and/or second letters of the file. The file(s) that matches the letters
you enter appears in the menu. When you select the file, click the Info button
to display the file name, date, time, and size. After you select the file, click OK
to load the file into the Axcent Wiring Information window.
