APEX Destiny 6100 Alarm Panel
Configuration options for the APEX panel zones include:
Normal Position for
Contact
This indicates whether the zone contacts are normally open
or closed for default/ready status.
Minimum Trigger Time
The minimum number of seconds a zone must be in non-
default state before executing the “Triggered” event.
Zone Number
This represents the logical zone that is programmed to
correspond to the specific physical contact input on the
APEX panel. These can either be auto-numbered or
manually programmed. Default is 1.
7.
Test the setup from the Control tab of an APEX device. For example, double-
click a door sensor icon, select the
Control
tab, and click on the
Status
button to
check for successful communication between Landmark and the APEX panel.
The system should react as if an APEX keypad's Status button was pressed.
8.
Program the way that the APEX devices function within the Landmark system
in the same manner as for other Landmark system devices. Refer to
Programming Options sub-section for details.
9.
Make any keypad or touchpanel menu programming changes associated with
the APEX devices, then test any changes from the Control tab or from another
interface device, such as a keypad or touchpanel.
