HOUSING & CAMCORDER OPERATION

Adjusting the iris

You must first make sure that the iris is set to manual. To do 
so, push on the left grip IRIS button while holding down the 
shift key. In manual mode, you can adjust the aperture value 
of the camcorder by holding down the shift key and turning 
the right grip wheel. You can also momenta rely auto iris 
when in manual iris by pushing on the MOMENT AI button 
located on the left grip.

Adjusting the gain

You must first make sure that the gain is set to manual. To 
do so, push on the GAIN button located on the left grip while 
holding down the shift key. Once activated, you can adjust 
the gain by pushing on the GAIN SELECT button located on 
the left grip to select one of its preset gain levels (H,M,L).

Adjusting the shutter speed

You must first make sure that the shutter is set to manual. To 
do so, push on the left grip SHUTT. button while holding 
down the shift key. In manual mode, you can adjust the 
shutter speed of the camcorder by holding down the shift 
key and turning the left grip wheel.

OPENING THE HOUSING

Sit the housing on a flat surface. Press and rotate both safety 
latches counterclockwise simultaneously until the rear door 
opens.

REMOVING THE SADDLE
1. 

Rotate the saddle locking handle towards the right until it 

reaches the end. This will disengage the saddle connector.

2. 

Use the handle to pull the saddle completely out of the 

housing.

SETTING THE CAMCORDER
1. 

Remove the eyecup and magnifier element.

 Remove hand strap 

3. 

Rotate and flip the LCD panel to restore it back to the 

original position with the LCD screen facing out.

4. 

Remove MIC Support Holder

-

 Open support holder to expose the mounting screws.

- Unscrew both screws and remove support holder.

-

 Replace screws into there mounting holes for safe keeping.

5. 

Set display output to “ALL OUTPUT” and 

    set all markers to OFF if using an external monitor

6. 

Set ND FILTER to OFF

7. 

Set AUTO LOCK switch to the manual.

8. 

Audio Settings

- Set Input 1 to MIC
- Set CH1 & CH2 TO “INPUT 1”
- Set audio levels to manual and set dial to level 10 for 
maximum hydrophone performance.
