Selecting zone for paging

1. Press required zone button, the zone LED shall lit to indicate a zone has been selected. To select all the 

zones, just press the ALL CALL button.

2. Press “CHIME / TALK” button to activate paging. The button adjacent red LED shall lit and a 

preannouncement chime shall be played.

3. When gooseneck mic LED lit, the console is ready for paging.

4. To end paging, press “CHIME / TALK” button again. An ending chime shall be played follow by termination of 

zone  selection. All selected zones LEDs remain lit to allow next recall. User can select to remove a zone by 

pressing the zone button again.

PM1060/1120 and ZS5062 / 5122.

When using PM1060/1120 with Amperes ZS5062/5122, activation of paging console shall automatically mute 

the BGM broadcast of the zones at the zone selector panel. Upon deactivation of the paging mic, the BGM 

broadcast shall return to the preselected zones.

PM1060/1120 and ZS5602

Unlike ZS5602/5122, activation of PM1060/1120 shall mute the selected Paging Zones only while other 

selected BGM zone shall not be interrupted.

Connecting To MA2000 Amplifier

Remote zone selection on MA2000 amplifier can be done using PM1000 Series paging mic. Diagram below  

illustrate a connection example. Connect PM1060 Pin 1 to Pin 3 to MA2024 SP1 to SP3 respecively. Connect 

an unused pin, in this case Pin 4 ( corresponding to zone 4 ) to PR ( Priority ) port of MA2000. With this, 

activate zone 1 + zone 4 buttons on PM1060 will override MA2000 front panel activated zones and allow 

PM1060 to page to zone 1.
