2.9. External sensor power supply
Some sensors require an operating voltage of 12 V and have to have a constant
external power supply. But because the measurements for temperature,
humidity and atmospheric pressure change relatively slowly it is usually
sufficient to take a single measurement at the end of each storage interval.
These sensors can therefore be connected to the switched power supply (Pin 5
of the Meteo socket), which significantly reduces the operating current. Note that
in this case the slope should not be set to zero.
2.10. The Xtend-inputs
The METEO-32X has additional inputs which are not pre-defined. The "Xtend"
connection socket can be used to register other analog and digital signals.
