There is a cavity in the bottom of the oven
to be filled with 150 ml of clean cold water
before heating the oven. Do not add spices
to the water. Set the function selector knob
to the Soft Steam function and then set the
temperature. When the oven is preheated
(after about 5 minutes), place the dish inside
the oven and close the door.
Note: Do not leave any water in the oven cav-
ity. When the oven has cooled down, soak up
the water with a cloth.
The OpenUp! function
This function allows you to open the oven
door by touching the handle. There are two
opening modes to choose from – One time
and Always . In On-time mode you
can touch the handle to open the door once
only when the oven is on. In Always mode
you can always touch the handle to open the
door when the oven is on.
IMPORTANT: The OpenUp! function does
not work when the oven is turned off (in
stand-by mode, when the clock indicates the
current time).
To activate the OpenUp! function when the
oven operates, touch and hold the , and
the display will show the pictogram.
Touch again and the previous pictogram
will be replaced with .
To open the oven door, touch the metal strip
of the oven door handle. You need to touch
the handle for at least 0.5 second. The sen-
sitivity of the handle allows you to open the
door with your hand or a covered part of the
body, e.g. the elbow or the knee.
Regardless of the OpenUp! settings, the
door can be opened manually in any situa-
tion by pulling the handle.
Note: When OpenUp! function is active in
Always mode, door can be easily opened
inadvertently. We recommend to closely
supervise children or to deactivate the Ope-
nUp! function.
Important!

When using the quick pre-heat function
make sure there is no food in the oven
cavity, such as a baking tray with cake or
any other items that are not oven acces-
sories. It is not recommended to use the
quick pre-heat function in combination
with any time programme.

Due to the presence of steam in the oven
cavity, water may condense on the inside
of the oven door and walls when baking.
After the baking is finished, wipe off any
excess water.

When opening the oven door while bak-
ing, exercise caution and move away from
the appliance, as the steam escaping
from the oven cavity can be dangerous.
