OPERATION
Before first use
l
After unpacking the appliance, make sure that all the attachments are included and there are no
visible signs of damage.
l
Before first use, wash in hot water all the attachments which come into contact with food.
Use the blending attachment
Blending attachment is designed to prepare soups, sauces and to blend food for young children.
l
Attach the blending attachment to the motor unit (Fig. 1; item 1 and 2). For this purpose motor unit
features special guides. Turn the attachment to lock it on the motor unit (Fig. 1, Item 1).
l
Place the tip of the blending attachment in the bowl so that the entire blade and guard are im

mersed. This will prevent splashing.
l
Turn on the appliance by selecting the appropriate speed (Fig. 1, item 10). If you press the button
harder, the appliance will increase speed.
l
Gently move the operating appliance up and down and make circular movements. This will signifi
-
cantly speed up the blending process.
l
When finished, turn off the appliance and unplug from the wall outlet.
Use the whisk
The whisk is ideal for whipping cream and eggs, for preparing custard and similar dishes.
l
Attach the whisk (Fig. 1 item 4) to the motor unit (Fig. 1 item 1) in the same way as for the blending
attachment (Fig. 1 item 2).
l
Place the ingredients in the bowl not exceeding the maximum quantity indicated in the table below.
l
To prevent food splashes, keep the whisk perpendicular to the bowl
l
When the first portion of food is ready, wait for the motor unit to cool down to room temperature.
l
When finished, turn off the appliance and then unplug it from the wall outlet. This will prevent
splashing the food around the bowl.
Use the chopper bowl
The chopper bowl is ideal for chopping hard vegetables such as carrots, ice cubes or coffee beans.
l
Install the chopping blade (Fig. 1 item 8) inside the chopper bowl (Fig. 1 item 6). When the blade is
installed, place the ingredients in the chopper bowl, not exceeding the quantity given in the table on
the next page, and then place the lid with gear unit on the chopper bowl (Fig. 1 item 5).
l
Install motor unit in the lid socket (in the same way as for the blending attachment Fig. 1 item 2).
l
Turn on the appliance by selecting the appropriate speed (Fig. 1, item 10). If you press the button
harder, the appliance will increase speed.
l
During operation, hold the motor unit with one hand and the chopper bowl with the other.
l
When finished, turn off the appliance and unplug from the wall outlet.
l
After use, first detach the motor unit from the lid, remove the lid and then carefully remove the blade.
l
If the chopped food is deposited on the walls of the chopper bowl, collect it with a spoon. Do not
wipe the bowl with your fingers because the blades are very sharp.
