Initial Calibration:
The sensor has already been installed, and it is ready for operation. The analyzer has been calibrated at the
factory, but changes in altitude will affect the calibration, so it is best to start off with an initial calibration.
Use this procedure:
1. Connect a stainless steel regulator (with Stainless Steel diaphragm ONLY) to span gas tank.
2. Connect the output of the regulator to the span inlet of the analyzer located on the right
side of the NEMA 4 box.
3. Set the regulator pressure to 10psig.
4. We recommend using the special AMI supplied span gas tubing with O ring sealed fittings
so as to prevent fitting damage to the span port.
5. Confirm all fittings are tight.
6. Press the ALARM HOLD OFF button, and adjust the time displayed suitably (typically 30
minutes). This prevents unintentionally setting off alarms if the gas value is higher than the
alarm set points.
7. Turn the analyzer flow valve on the front of the NEMA 4 box to the SPAN position.
