HART COMMUNICATION SET-UP

CAUTION

Parameters are pre-set at the manufacturer.

Step 1:



Connect HART communication wires to System Controller.

Step 2:



Install DD file for Amflow Actuator according to instructions
provided by supplier for System Controller.

Step 3:



Power on System and Actuator then connect to Actuator
according to instructions provided by supplier for System
Controller.

Step 4:



Load parameters from Actuator, and consult HART Connection
Guide for detailed description of variables and commands for
Actuator.

NOTE

Due to the wide variety of HART controllers on today’s market, it is
necessary to consult the manuals of the HART controller. This ensures
proper installation of the DD file and commissioning of the Amflow Actuator.

A DD file is provided by Amflow upon delivery of an Amflow Actuator.
