7 Maintenance
7.1 Lens assembly maintenance
After initial installation, make frequent regular inspections of the lens in order to
establish a cleaning cycle.
It may be necessary to remove the optic head from its mounting to gain
reasonable access to the lens.
If necessary, clean the lens with a soft cloth and a suitable lens cleaning fluid.
7.2 Flexible lightguide maintenance
Make regular checks of the lightguide to ensure that it no part of it is fouling
machinery or being abraded during operation.
7.3 Processor maintenance
The only periodic maintenance necessary with the processor is to ensure that it is
mounted securely and the lid fastened correctly.
