Thermal Imaging System
NIR-B Borescope
Electrical Auto Retract
1)
Remove the lid from the Battery Box.
2)
Insert the fuse into its holder in the Battery
Box (Fig. 9-1).
3)
Replace the lid on the Battery Box.
4)
Open the lid of the main Terminal Box.
5)
Check that both switches on the terminal
rails are set to the ON position (Fig. 9-2).
6)
Apply mains power to the system.

When the system is first switched on, the
FAULT
light will be lit (and possibly the
Low
Battery
light).
7)
Turn the switch momentarily to the
RETRACT
position.
The system will reset to its default position
and the
FAULT
light will switch off.
The system is now ready for operation.
If the
FAULT
light does not go out when
the
RETRACT
is operated, refer to Fault
Diagnosis.
8)
Complete the Operational Check described in
Section 10.1.

9.1 Commissioning sequence
The unit is shipped with the Battery Box fuse disconnected.
