Locate the sample pump waste tubing (23) penetrating the valve
door. Remove the wire clips (22) from the tubing and place the
outlet in an E-flask (24) placed on the sample tray.
Note: For calibration of the sample pump, refer to the Pump P-960
User Manual.

Connecting tubings

Turn ÄKTAexplorer on its swivel platform to access the rear and
remove the plastic bag from the inlet tubings marked A11, A2, B1
and B2.

Locate the buffer valve (V6) and connect the tubing marked A1
(25) to the central port of the buffer valve.
