BLENDING TIPS

When blending ice, use up to five cubes at a time. Use the Pulse setting to break up

the ice into small pieces before continuing.

Do not use the blender for mashing or grinding heavy foods (e.g., potatoes or

meats) or to stir thick mixtures (e.g., dough). It cannot whip egg whites or substitute

dairy toppings.

Pour liquid ingredients into the blending cup first unless a particular recipe says

otherwise.

Cut all fruits or vegetables into smaller pieces that are approximately ¾-inch to 1-

inch.

Do not overfill the blending cup.

If the Blades are not operating smoothly, stop the blender and add some liquid, or

reduce the solid contents in the Cup.
