BLENDING TIPS
•
When blending ice, use up to five cubes at a time. Use the Pulse setting to break up
the ice into small pieces before continuing.
•
Do not use the blender for mashing or grinding heavy foods (e.g., potatoes or
meats) or to stir thick mixtures (e.g., dough). It cannot whip egg whites or substitute
dairy toppings.
•
Pour liquid ingredients into the blending cup first unless a particular recipe says
otherwise.
•
Cut all fruits or vegetables into smaller pieces that are approximately ¾-inch to 1-
inch.
•
Do not overfill the blending cup.
•
If the Blades are not operating smoothly, stop the blender and add some liquid, or
reduce the solid contents in the Cup.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING: To avoid the risk of electrical shock, always ensure the product is unplugged
from the electrical outlet before assembling, disassembling, relocating, servicing, or
cleaning it.
WARNING: Handle the blade assembly with care as the blades are extremely sharp. Use
caution when attaching, detaching, cleaning, or storing blade assembly.
•
Always clean the product immediately after each use.
•
Wash all parts except the Blender Base in warm, soapy water; rinse, and dry
thoroughly.
•
Clean the Base by wiping it with a damp cloth. To avoid damage to the product, DO
NOT immerse the Base into water or any other liquids.
•
To avoid damage to the product, do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to
clean the product parts.
•
Make sure product is thoroughly dry before storing in a cool, dry place.
Auto Clean Feature for jar and blade assembly:
•
Pour a little warm dishwashing liquid into the jar with 1/4 cup water and press the
power switch in a pulsing action.
•
Remove the jar and rinse under running water.
•
Wipe the outer surface of the Base with a damp cloth, do not use abrasive cleansers.
Never immerse Blender Base in water for cleaning.
•
Dry all parts and then replace them.
•
NOTE:
Mason jar and blade assembly are dishwasher-safe, but the temperature
setting should not exceed 158°F.
