2. Permanently Connected models
CAUTION:
To provide continued protection against risk of electric shock, connect to
properly grounded outlets only.
An optional hardwire cover kit may have been supplied with the electric towel warmer.
Permanent connection of the towel warmer must be carried out by a suitably qualified person. Ensure
that all electrical connections are made in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
The electricity supply must be disconnected during installation.
A grounded supply must be used.
Connections are to be as per figure 3. When installing the hardwire cover kit add sealant between the
element base and the top cup of the hardware cover
- If the supply cord becomes damaged, the heater unit must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
- A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulting from becoming entangled in or
tripping over a longer cord.
- The use of extension cords is not recommended
