Installing the Upgrade Processor
The CPU socket is a 237-pin ZIF PGA socket in the back corner. See the motherboard figure on page 11. Pin 1 of the socket is on a
chamfered corner that corresponds to pin 1 of the CPU, also on a chamfered corner. Check for bent pins on the CPU. Gently straighten any
bent pins with a pair of pliers. Lift the socket handle. Place the CPU in the socket. Align the pins and press down firmly on the CPU,
making sure that pin 1 is aligned with pin 1 on the socket:
