Expanding Storage Pool using Stroage Wizard  

 
In this below  example,  storage pool will  be expanded by creating new  logical  drive  on 
JBOD  which has 16 Read Intensive SSDs. 
 

S tep 

Action 

1 

Select  “RAID 5[15  1 Spare]” option for Read Intensive Tier.

 

 

2 

Select the corresponding Storage pool from the list and click 

Expand

 button. 

3 

New logical  drive will be created and will be used to expand the existing  storage pool. 

 

 

Once the existing  storage pool is expanded successfully, user can check the imported Logical  drives from 
storage  pool management  page.
