2. Commissioning 

Instructions. 

Check installation has 

been carried out to these 

instructions.

Ensure gas and electricity 

supplies are isolated. 

Disconnect gas hose from 

burner 

Replace burner on tube 

and secure. 

Open control housing and 

check that all components 

are securely fastened. 

Close control housing 

Reconnect gas hose. 

Open isolating valve. 

Check soundness. 

Check thermostat is set to 

maximum and is calling 

for heat. 

A successful ignition is 
indicated by the amber 

light illuminating and  

remaining illuminated. 

The heater should now 

run through its start up 

sequence and ignite. 

Turn off power and check 

that all components are 

securely fastened. 

Check gas 

pressure. 

Remove burner from tube 

and inspect burner head. 

(See servicing instructions) 

Check operation of 
air pressure switch 

Leave the instructions 

with a responsible 

person. 

Injector pressure 
test point. 

Adjustment screw under 
cap to set injector pressure

These appliances should be commissioned by a qualified engineer.

 

2.1 Tools

The following tools and equipment are advisable 

to complete the tasks laid out in this manual.
