I don’t see any bars next to the signal strength indicator
This means that your Clock Radio is in an area with poor recep-
tion. Try moving the device closer to a window, or if possible, to
an upstairs room. If your Clock Radio still doesn’t get any bars of
signal, go to http://map.myambient.com to verify that your location
receives signal coverage.
I have reception bars, but my radio doesn’t work.
Your device’s weather information is transmitted via the Ambient
Information Network; the signal bars on the screen of the device dis-
play the signal strength level for your Ambient weather data. Radio
reception for the device is received separately, which means that it is
possible to have strong radio reception but poor weather reception,
or vice versa. To increase radio reception, use the external antenna
that is coiled behind the battery door. To increase weather recep-
tion, move the device until you see at least two signal strength bars
displayed on the screen.
