White smoke
emits from the
product.
The food has a high fat
content.
When preparing fatty foods,
grease drips into the fryer
pan. The grease makes the
fryer pan hotter than usual
– this has no negative effect
on either the product or the
cooking results.
The fryer pan still has
grease residue from the
previous cooking.
Grease residue burns in the
fryer chamber. Clean the fryer
pan after each use.
Fresh french
fries are not fried
evenly.
The cut potatoes were not
soaked long enough.
Soak the cut potatoes in cold
water for approx. 1/2 hour
so that the starch can leach
out. Dry them off with paper
towels before putting them
in the fryer basket.
The type of potato is not
suitable.
Fresh french fries
are not crispy.
The potatoes are too moist. The crunchiness depends on
the water and starch content
of the potato variety and on
the quantity of oil.
Dry off the potatoes carefully
and then cover them with
approx. 1/2 teaspoon of oil.
Cut the potatoes into smaller
pieces.
The error code
“E1” or “E2” is
shown in the
display.
The internal temperature
sensor of the product
reports a fault.
