Almost full fertilization up to the field edge is achieved, if you may fertilise beyond the field edge, e.g. your own,
adjacent fields to be treated identically (except near surface water). In this way any underfertilized edge strips are
avoided. Do not reduce the slide position in these cases. You will find the settings for the respective fertilizers in
this setting chart.

Boundary spreading
Avoids any fertilizer spreading beyond the boundary, e.g. in case of areas not to be treated identically. An
underfertilized edge strip of 2 to 6 m is automatically produced dependent on the distance of the first tramline to the
boundary (see Fig. 4) Reduce the spread rate on the boundary side by the stated value. In this way you will
achieve the best lateral distribution possible. You will find the settings for the respective fertilizers in this setting
chart.

Water course spreading
In case of water course spreading it is possible to still spread with a safety distance, e.g. near surface waters.
Consequently underfertilization of the edge strip is higher than in case of boundary spreading. Reduce the slide
position (spread rate) on the boundary side by the stated value. In this way you will achieve the best lateral
distribution possible. You will find the settings for the respective fertilizers in this setting chart.
