Use of the machine
DANGER!
•
Observe the chapter "Safety instructions for the user", page
21, when using the machine.
•
Observe the warning signs on the machine. The warning
signs provide you with important hints for the safe opera-
tion of the machine. Compliance with this information guar-
antees your safety!
10.1
Changing from transport to working position
1. Raise the machine.
2. Move both boundary discs / boundary tines to working position.
3. If necessary: Install the outer side knife holder and put wing
coulter into working position.
10.2
Operation
The
Cenius
is intended for operation in the float position of the rear
three-point attachment. The depth is guided by the trailing roller.
During operation in the field, the machine is only raised at the head-
lands and then lowered again.
•
The machine is coupled to the tractor.
•
The working depth of the tines and the levelling unit is set.
•
The machine is in working position.
Avoid reversing when the machine is in working position!
Adjust the machine at the lift arm spindles and the upper links of the
tractor so that the frame is parallel to the ground in longitudinal and
transverse directions during operation!
10.3
Headland
•
In tight curves, raise the machine to avoid transverse loads on
the tools!
•
Lower the machine at the headland only when the machine is
facing in the working direction!
