Before First Use
• Check for transport damages.
• Before connecting the product to the power supply, check that the power supply voltage and
current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on the product rating label.
Risk of suffocation!
Keep any packaging materials away from children – these
materials are a potential source of danger, e.g. suffocation.
Using the Product
Connecting to a power source
Place the product nearby the power source and connect the power plug (G).
For fixed installation, use the wall mounting holes (H).
Using the product
• To turn the product on, press the power switch (B). The indicator of the power switch (B) lights
up orange. The
PROTECTED
(F) and
GROUNDED
(A)
indicators
light up green.
• To turn the product off, press the power switch (B) again. All the
indicators
go off.
PROTECTED
indicator (Green):
The surge protection is activated.
GROUNDED
indicator (Green):
The product is grounded.
Power switch indicator (Orange):
The product is powered on.
If the indicator of the power switch is on, but the
PROTECTED
(F) indicator
is off, the built-in surge protection is no longer functioning. Unplug all the
connected equipment and replace the product.
If the indicator of the power switch is on, but the
GROUNDED
(A) indicator is
off, contact a qualified electrician to properly ground the outlet before using it
again.
Before plugging into the product, please make sure the electrical device is set
to “OFF” position.
