• Always insert batteries correctly with regard to the polarities (+ and –) marked on the battery and
the battery compartment.
• Batteries shall be stored in well-ventilated, dry and cool conditions.
• Exhausted batteries should be immediately removed from equipment and properly disposed of.
• Use the correct type (AA battery).
• Remove the battery if you will not be using the appliance for an extended period of time.
Environmental Protection
This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other household
wastes throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human
health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the
sustainable reuse of material resources. To return your used device, please use
the return and collection systems or contact the retailer where the product was
purchased. They can take this product for environmental safe recycling.
Used batteries must not be disposed of through household garbage, since they might
contain toxic elements and heavy metals that can be harmful to the environment and
human health.
Consumers are therefore obligated to return batteries to retail or local collection
facilities free of charge. Used batteries will be recycled.
They contain important raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese or nickel.

must not be disposed of through household garbage.

Pb: Battery contains lead
Cd: Battery contains cadmium
Hg: Battery contains mercury
The packaging consists of cardboard and correspondingly marked plastics that can
be recycled. Make these materials available for recycling.
