Inspection
• Visual inspection shall be made before each use of the product by
checking for abnormal conditions, such as cracked welds, leaks, and
damaged, loose, or missing parts.
• The product shall be inspected immediately if the product is believed
to have been subject to an abnormal load or shock. This inspection
should be made by a manufacturer’s or supplier’s authorized repair
facility.
• Inspect the work area as well. Keep work area clean and well lit.
Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
Operation
Lifting up the vehicle
DANGER
Risk of death!
Never work
on, around, or under a load supported only
by the product. Use a pair of adequately
rated jack stands.
• Engage the vehicle brake and block the wheels for better lift stability.
• Place the product at a 90º angle to the vehicle under the vehicle’s lift
point. Position the product so the saddle (lift pad) (G) is centered and
will contact the lift point firmly.
• Consult the vehicle’s owner manual if you are in doubt about the
location of the lift points.
• Ensure the product is at a 90º angle to the vehicle and under the
specified points for lifting.
• Close the release valve (I) by rotating it in a clockwise direction.
• Pump the handle until the saddle (lift pad)
(G) is in close proximity to
the lift point.
• Continue pumping until the vehicle is lifted to the desired height.
• Remove the actuating handle (A and H) from the handle
receptacle (B).
• After lifting, support the load with appropriately rated jack stands
(not provided).
