Frames for Veneering / Ceramill Zolid Preshades
Post-processing
If required, the zirconium oxide frames can be reworked after the final
sintering without pressure, using a water-cooled lab turbine and suit-
able diamond grinding points (recommended grain approx. 40
μ
m).
Frame preparation for veneering
After checking the fitting accuracy, contact points and occlusion:

Clean the interior crown surfaces by means of corundum blasting
(aluminium oxide, 110
μ
m, pressure

2 bar) and subsequent steam-
ing off.
Veneer ceramics
Ceramill Zolid Preshades is suitable for veneering with conventional
zirconium-oxide veneer ceramics (e.g., Creation ZI-F). For information
on the thermal-expansion coefficient of Ceramill Zolid Preshades
blanks, please refer to the Technical data (see page 24).
For bridges with more than five units and bridges with massive inter-
mediate units, step-by-step long-term cooling to 500
°C
is recom-
mended.
