Kit Instructions
25. Install hinge (right) side trim on freezer door.
Be sure holes in trim align with holes in door. Remove
paper backing from adhesive on hinge (right) side
trim and press into place over edges of trim on top and
bottom of door.
26. Rehang freezer door.
A.
Check center hinge-bracket to be sure plastic
spacer is in correct position.
B.
Place door on center hinge.
C.
Close freezer door.
27. Re-install hinge on top side of door using three (3)
hex-head screws.
IMPORTANT:
If a 6.35 mm trim kit is to be installed,
turn
NOW
to STEP 8 in the 6.35 mm Trim Kit
Instructions to finish installation.
Proceed with Step 28 (below)
only
if the 3.175 mm trim
kit is to be installed alone.
28. Install decorator panel on front of freezer door.
A.
To prevent scratching freezer door when sliding
panel into trim slots, cover outside edges of rear
panel surface with masking tape and put three
(3) evenly-spaced strips of masking tape across
the rear side of decorator panel.
B.
Slide decorator panel into place.
29. Install handle (left) side trim on freezer door.
A.
Before
removing paper backing from alternat-
ing adhesive tape, check the fit by aligning trim
snugly on side of door.
B.
Remove paper backing from alternating adhe-
sive tape.
C.
Press handle (left) side trim into place over the
edges of trim on top and bottom of door.
