remote input is set to

the remote input can be used to switch between the display brightness
level set by the

and the display brightness set by the

function. The

= highest intensity.
This function is useful in reducing glare when the display needs to be viewed in both light and
dark ambient light levels. To set dull level go to the
duLL
function and use the

(automatic display blanking or dulling) will also cause the
duLL
function to appear if the

Auto display dimming timer

This function allows a time to be set after which the display brightness (set by the

will automatically be set to the level set at the

function. The auto dimming feature can be
used to reduce power consumption. The function can be set to any value between
0

9999
seconds. A setting of

disables the auto dimming. The display brightness can be restored by
pressing any of the instruments front push buttons. The display brightness will also be restored
whilst one or more alarm relays is activated. In normal display mode (i.e. not in
CAL
mode) there
is a 2 minute delay period after the instrument is switched on during which the automatic display
