Remove the heatsink fan assembly (see

Remove the default processor.
(1) Open the socket lever (beside the Open icon) by pushing the
lever down and away from the socket. Do not force the lever up
to the fully open position.
(2) Open the socket lever (beside the Close icon) by pushing the
lever down and away from the socket. Rotate the socket lever
to its fully open position as shown.
