NOTE
It is important to stop the vehicle fully when switching from
D
(drive) to
R
(reverse) and back. If the vehicle is still rolling, driving direction might not
be changed.
Turn off the vehicle
1. Fully stop the vehicle.
2. Hold the brake pedal depressed.
3. Push
P
(parking) button
. The parking indicator lights up in the
instrument cluster (the electric parking brake is automatically applied
when the drive selector is in the position
P
or the seat belt is
unfastened).
4. Press the start/stop button
to turn off the vehicle.
NOTE
The parking brake must be applied because electric motor does not
provide braking while the vehicle is turned off.
Driving with low battery SOC
With
10% SOC
remaining, a warning on the Novus instrument display appears
(see below) and a sound signal is released. Estimated range is continued to
be calculated.
With
5% SOC
remaining, a warning on the Novus instrument display appears
and a sound signal is released. Estimated range is stopped to be calculated
(0 km value is displayed).
Low state of charge
warning appears on the Novus
instrument display (
see section 5.2, Warnings
).
With
1% SOC
remaining, a warning on the Novus instrument display appears
again and a sound signal is released. The power is reduced.
