AUX Setup
[AUX setup] is selected on the Audio setup menu in step 4. See “Audio
Setup Operation” (page 109).
You can make settings for an external device (such as a portable music
player) that is connected to the AUX terminal of the AUX/PREOUT
connector cable.
Setting item: Rear AUX IN Primary
Setting contents: Rear AUX (Initial setting) / Game /
DVB-T / EXT. DVD CHG / Off

When connected to a DVB-T tuner, set this item to DVB-T. When
connected to an external DVD changer, set to EXT. DVD CHG. When
you intend to connect both, connect a DVB-T tuner to “REAR AUX
IN Primary” and an external DVD changer to “Rear AUX IN
Secondary”.
Setting item: Rear AUX IN level
Setting contents: High (Initial setting) / Low
High:
Increases the external input audio level.
LOW:
Decreases the external input audio level.
When a DVB-T Tuner (sold separately) is connected, you can use it to
connect one more External Input device. Setting the Secondary name
can change the source name display of this device.
You can make this setting only when you have set to DVB-T in “Setting
the Rear AUX Primary”.
Setting item: AUX IN Secondary
Setting contents: Rear AUX / Game / EXT. DVD CHG / Off
(Initial setting)

When an external DVD changer is connected, set this item to EXT.
DVD CHG.
You can make settings for an external device (such as a portable music
player) that is connected to the Front AUX input terminal.
Setting item: Front AUX IN
Setting contents: Audio (Initial setting) / Audio+Video
Audio:
Only audio signal is output from the external device.
Audio+Video:
Both audio and video signals are output from
the external device.
Setting item: Front AUX IN level
Setting contents: High (Initial setting) / Low
High:
Increases the external input audio level.
Low:
Decreases the external input audio level.
Radio Setup
[Radio Setup] is selected on the Audio setup menu in step 4. See “Audio
Setup Operation” (page 109).
If the difference in volume level between the CD and FM radio is too
great, adjust the FM signal level as follows.
Setting item: FM level
Setting contents: High (Initial setting) / Low
Setting item: PI seek
Setting contents: Auto / Off (Initial setting)
When Off is selected, the unit automatically keeps receiving the related
local RDS station.
Setting item: RDS regional
Setting contents: On (Initial setting) / Off
PTY31 (Emergency Broadcast) reception can be set to On/Off.
Setting item: PTY31(ALARM)
Setting contents: On (Initial setting) / Off

The unit automatically gives priority to an emergency broadcast
whenever it begins, and interrupts the programme you are currently
listening to when PTY31 is set to on.

The unit will show “Alarm” in the display during PTY31 reception.
