Presetting the Private
Equalizations for Tuner and
Tape
Press the M/P button on the Head unit in the
G-EQ mode to select the Private Equalization
mode.
The display shows "PRIVATE" when the
Private Equalization mode is selected.

Press the ENT button on the Remote
Controller to activate the frequency adjust-
ment mode.
The display shows the frequency and level
for 5 seconds.
Press the DN (

) or UP (

) button on
the Remote Controller while the frequency
indicator is illuminating to select the desired
band (frequency) within 5 seconds after
selecting the adjustment mode.
The frequency display changes in the range
from 31.5 Hz to 18 kHz.
Note: If you press the
g
or
f
button for
more than 2 seconds, the frequency
changes quickly.

Controller to increase or decrease the level of
the frequency selected within 5 seconds after
selecting the adjustment mode.
The level display changes up to + 6 or –6 in
