Basic Operation

Turning Loudness On or
Off

The loudness on mode introduces a moderate
boost of the very low and high frequencies to
compensate for the human ear's characteristic
at low listening levels.

Note:

When an equalizer is connected, the
Loudness menu will not appear on the
screen. In this case, turn the loudness
on or off using the equalizer connected.

Display the Audio cont. screen by referring to
Steps 1 and 2 for Adjusting Bass on page 12.

Press the F1 (LOUDNESS) button to turn the
LOUDNESS mode on or off.
Each press toggles between the Loudness on
and off modes.
