Impiegata per tenere sotto controllo i
tempi di immersione, la lancetta girevole
unidirezionale antioraria è una caratteris-
tica essenziale di tutti gli orologi subac-
quei Alpina. La lunetta è dotata di una
scala graduata suddivisa in minuti.
Il suo funzionamento è semplice e affi -
dabile. All'inizio di ogni immersione, lo
zero sulla lunetta deve essere allineato
con la lancetta dei minuti. Un semplice
sguardo alla posizione della lancetta
dei minuti rispetto alla lunetta permette
al sub di comprendere in qualsiasi mo-
mento quanto tempo è passato (in minu-
ti) dall'inizio dell'immersione.
La rotazione unidirezionale antioraria è
un sistema di sicurezza che garantisce,
in seguito a un eventuale movimento
accidentale della lunetta, che il tempo
di immersione residuo segnalato sia
sempre inferiore a quello effettivo.
Le scale di misurazione instaurano una
relazione tra il tempo trascorso e un'altra
variabile. L'informazione desiderata, sia
essa la velocità (tachimetro), la distanza
(telemetro) o il numero di unità (pulso-
metro, misuratori di produttività) si legge
tra la lancetta dei secondi centrali del
cronografo e la scala corrispondente, su
una durata massima di 60 secondi. Per
il telemetro è possibile usare il contatore
dei minuti aggiungendo 20 km alla dis-
tanza indicata dalla lancetta dei secondi
centrali per ogni minuto trascorso.
USO DELLA SCALA TACHIMETRICA
Esempio 1:
calcolo della velocità di
un'automobile.Misura il tempo che l'auto-
mobile impiega a percorrere la distanza
di 1 km. Rileva la velocità indicata dalla
lancetta dei secondi centrali del crono-
grafo sulla scala tachimetrica. Nel nostro
esempio l'automobile viaggia a 90 km/h.
