5. COMMISSIONING
5.1 ASSEMBLING THE ROD AERIAL
The telescopic rod aerial is screwed in using an F-connector. This means that other antennae with F-connectors
aside from the one provided can be attached to the device. Assembly: Screw the antenna into the appropriate
connector on the rear of the device then adjust the antenna and tighten the knurled nut again so that the antenna
is fixed to the F-connector.
5.2 CHARGING THE BATTERY
In its factory settings, the battery is only slightly charged. Therefore, it must be fully charged before initial use.
Open the protective cap on the back of the device and plug the type C USB charging cable into the corresponding
port. Now connect the charging cable to an appropriate adapter to begin charging. A charging adapter with at
least a 2A power output is required for this.
