DRAIN BACK UNIT (DBU) INFORMATION - Fig. 6
Positioning
The DBU must be located within 3 metres of the top of the Solar collector, see Fig. 8. The pipework from the collector to
the DBU
must always
fall by a minimum of 40 mm per metre and
must be
insulated with high temperature pipe
insulation.
Dimensions
The dimensions of the DBU and clearances required for servicing are shown in Fig. 6.
Water connections
The connections at the top and bottom of the DBU are shown in Fig. 6.
