not turn on.
Is the power cord plugged

into the outlet?
Plug the power cord into the outlet.
No mist is formed,
or the amount of
mist is small.
Is the Water indicator lit
•
red?
Is it time (about 3,000
•
hours) to replace the
ceramic disc (ultrasound
vibration plate)?
Fill with water.
If the service life of the ceramic disc
is exceeded, the amount of mist
generated can drop or fail to be
generated at all. Repairs are needed, so
consult with the Service Center.
The Water
indicator stays lit
in red even when
water is supplied.
Is the water tank loaded
•
in the humidifier so that it
fits securely?
Load the water tank so that it fits
securely.
Even when its
operation is
stopped, it sounds
like it is operating.
This is not a malfunction.
•
After misting stops, the fan runs for
about one minute before the humidifier
comes to a complete stop.
A smell is emitted.
Are you using water other
•
than clean water?
Drain the water left in the water tank,
and clean by following the procedure in
“Cleaning and Storage”.
The mist nearly
stops once every
minute.
This is not a malfunction.
•
To prevent water from collecting at
the mist outlet, the fan motor stops
operation about once every minute,
and the fan stops for about two
seconds.
