Risks Associated with Use

In the event of insufficient clamping force, there is a danger due to parts becoming detached.

Elastic workpieces only produce low clamping force and represent a danger to persons and the
environment.

3.5

Notes on Personnel

Persons working on the NC8 must have read the operating manual before beginning work.

All machine-specific accident prevention regulations are to be observed.

All unsafe working practices are to be avoided.

Repairs to the force transmitting spindle may only be carried out by experts. If replacements
are required, only components authorised by the manufacturer are to be used.

For all accessory parts, the same regulations apply as for the NC8 range.

Transport and Storage

Only store the clamping system of the NC8 series in a dry environment.

Ensure that your cooling medium has anti-corrosive properties.
