Enabling and Disabling Proxy ARP

You may want to enable Proxy ARP when nodes do not support routing, or 
do not have knowledge of the network structure.

To enable Proxy ARP, use the IP PROXY-ARP command in the VLAN 
Interface mode. Proxy ARP is disabled by default.

The following example enables Proxy ARP on VLAN 4:

awplus> enable
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# interface vlan4
awplus(config-if)# ip proxy-arp

To disable Proxy ARP, use the NO IP PROXY-ARP command in the 
VLAN Interface mode.

The following example disables Proxy ARP on VLAN10:

awplus> enable
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# interface vlan10
awplus(config-if)# no ip proxy-arp
