miswired?

diagram for
correct wiring.
Refer to wiring

Is wiring
broken, loose
or incorrect?
Is motor wire
harness
connection
block loose?
Firmly press
connection
block onto
motor switch.
Remove belt
and
determine if
motor shaft
will spin.
Replace motor
if shaft is
locked up.
Is there a bind
in motor
bearing?
Is motor
centrifugal
switch sticky
or plugged
with lint?
Remove
dust or lint
and spray
with a
cleaner and
lubricant.
Wait two or three
minutes for
overload protector
to reset. If
protector cycles
repeatedly, refer
to next flowchart.
Has motor
overload
protector
cycled?
