Wire the Expansion Blocks
The following figures show the wiring information for the expansion blocks.

For inputs 0…7: Sinking inputs
– wire COM 0 (pin 9) to Field Power (-) GND
Sourcing inputs
- wire COM 0 (pin 9) to Field Power (+) 24V DC

For inputs 8…15: Sinking inputs
– wire COM 1 (pin 11) to Field Power
(-) GND
Sourcing inputs
– wire COM 1 (pin 11) to Field Power (+) 24V DC
Note:
both COM 0 are internally connected - COM 0 is used for inputs 0…7,
COM 1 is used for inputs 8…15. Both COM 1 are internally connected.
IMPORTANT
Input and output wiring must be in accordance with Class 1, Division 2
wiring methods and in accordance with the authority having jurisdiction.
