Chapter 3

Install the 1788-EN2DNR Linking Device

Register the EDS File 

The EDS file for the linking device is accessible and downloadable with RSLinx 
software. To register the EDS file in RSLinx software, follow these steps.

1.

In RSLinx software, right-click the linking device.

2.

Select Upload EDS File from Device.

3.

Click Next or Finish for the remaining dialog boxes.
