Set the Node Address of a 1769-SDN Module
You can use the following options to set the node address of DeviceNet devices:

Set the Node Address via Software on page 33
•
Set the Node Address via the DeviceNet Node Commissioning Tool on
page 34
Set the Node Address via Software
Complete the following steps to set a device’s node address in your network
configuration file. This example uses an AC drive.
1.
Start RSNetWorx for DeviceNet software and double-click the device.
2. Enter the DeviceNet address for the device.
3.
Click OK to close the configuration window.
