Operation
Start The Engine
Before starting the engine, verify that the engine oil is full, gasoline is full, and air filter is in place.
Also, disconnect any load from the AC receptacle, and turn the AC circuit breaker OFF (Figure 1).
• Turn the fuel valve to the “ON” position (Figure 2).
• Place the choke lever in the “CLOSE”
position (Figure 3.)
• Turn the key starting the engine.

• Slowly turn the key to the start
position, once the engine fires up,
release the key immediately
CAUTION:
• Take your hand off the switch
immediately after the engine starts.
• If the engine fails to start, release
the switch, wait a few seconds, then try
again. Each attempt should be as short
as possible to preserve the battery. Do
not crank the engine more than 10
seconds on any one attempt.
Batteries contain electrolyte fluid or
battery acid. Batteries emit hydrogen
gases as battery is being charged. The
slightest spark will ignite hydrogen and
cause an explosion.
NOTE: The customer is responsible for
purchasing a battery for the unit.
