BEFORE USE
- Remove the protective film from all surfaces, to facilitate removal use hot air (e.g. hair
dryer), do not use sharp tools.
POSITIONING THE OVEN
- To facilitate the handling, we recommend to remove the
bricks placed inside the combustion chamber with the
help of the hemp twine.
- Install the oven on floors with adequate load-bearing
capacity.
- Safety must be the first priority. When the oven is in
operation ensure that no other fuel and materials that may be damaged by heat and sparks are close to it.
- The outer walls of Quattro Pro may reach high temperatures greater than 50°C.
- Position the oven so it is not in contact with the wall or other furniture and make sure there is a gap of at least
5 cm alongside and behind the oven if you are using fireproof materials, at least 20 cm if you do not use fire-
resistant materials.
- The upper part of the furnace can not be recessed and must remain free from furniture that compromise the
correct ventilation.
- The oven must be connected to a smoke exhaust
system, the smoke discharge must be airtight.
- The accessory works must not rest on the structure
of the oven.
- Do not move the oven while it is in use.
ABOUT THE CHIMNEY
- The exit of smoke from the wood-fired oven has a
diameter of 180 mm.
- By law, the chimney flue must serve only one thermal
device and connecting more than one device to it
may compromise the regular dispersal of smoke.
- A well-constructed chimney flue should not contain
too many joints or curves. Hairpin turns at angles
greater than 45° are to be absolutely avoided for the
correct dispersal of smoke.
