General Mounting Guidelines
Recommended locations for installing SIP Annunciators include:
1) IT Closets
Alertus recommends a location close to source of power, Alert Beacon, and phone system interface.
Mounting
Identify a suitable mounting location close to source of power, Alert Beacon, and phone system interface. The
recommended mounting method for the SIP Annunciator is to use screws through the four (4) holes, near either end
of the box. Standard drywall-type screws (or other types, as appropriate for the mounting surface) can be driven
directly through these holes. This adds resistance to accidental or malicious removal. Cables can be run inside the
three included wire glands.
